RUTHIE Relations Director/Office ManagerHi, my name is Ruthie and I'm the Relations Director for Ichiban Salon & Day Spa. I also manage the back office. I can't really say when I began working at Ichiban. Kathleen has been my dearest friend for years and after hanging around for so long, the staff finally just gave me a title and a "to do" list. Since my fellow Ichibanians always considered me as their "closet hairdresser who could work the computer," I couldn't refuse the opportunity.
My duties at Ichiban are endless. I compose the monthly e-mail newsletters, oversee advertising and keep the office organized and efficient. I also paint, shop for supplies, get coffee when asked, and even work the front desk on occassion. I am a legal secretary by trade, but love being in a creative atmosphere more than being with stuffy suits and ties.
I have had a variety of jobs throughout my life. One of my more recent jobs included working for a Catholic school overseeing retention and recruitment and fundraising. Although I miss the little ones, I have to admit that spending my days with the Ichibanians makes me happy. I am fortunate to share my life with such a caring and creative staff!
CHRIS Front-desk ManagerHello, my name is Chris and I'm one of the front-desk managers at Ichiban. I've been working for this awesome salon for over 19 years. Before I started working for Ichiban, I worked as a customer service rep for a large oil company and also worked with my father in our family jewelry business.
I met my husband Kurt when I was working with the family business and we were married in Las Vegas - Elvis did preside our ceremony! Kurt and I have no children, but the love of our lives is our Zoe. She's a tri-colored Cocker Spaniel. We recently gave her a baby brother. The best thing about our babies is that we will never have to worry about them running off one day to get married - in Vegas - by Elivis!

My name is Sachi and I'm one of the managers at Ichiban Salon & Day Spa.
I just recently joined Ichiban and I am so happy to be a part of this wonderful family! I love working with the creative and talented staff at our salon and I also enjoy getting to know the clients. I am very versed in the many fabulous products that Ichiban Salon & Day Spa offers and if I can ever help you in any way, please know that I am here to serve you and make your experience at our salon a wonderful one.

CHRISTA Front-desk ManagerI'm Christa and I am the newest addition to the front-desk crew at Ichiban Salon & Day Spa. I am a recent graduate of Brown Aveda Institute in Rocky River, Ohio and am a licensed Esthetician.
Even though my passion is in makeup and skincare, I am currently serving our clients as a part-time front desk manager. I am also being extensively trained in Iredale Mineral Cosmetics and will eventually be one of Ichiban's fabulous make-up artists.
I enjoy learning the operations of the salon business and getting to know the clients. I would be happy to assist you in any way I can!
